Coming across the color navy blue is a rare occurrence in my closet. In fact, I can literally count on my hand how many pieces in this hue I own. Four: a blazer, a pencil skirt that I never wear, a pair of pencil pants, and the most recent addition…this jumpsuit.
I wore this to Mixology. An event hosted by the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals that fuses music, food, and art for an old-fashioned good time. My style game plan was chic yet comfortable enough to mingle, sample some delicious dishes (with libations), and dance the night away. I decided to let this beautiful navy color stand out with my favorite pair of statement shoes and gold accessories.
The Starting Lineup ~ Jumpsuit: Tart via TJMaxx (option) | Shoes: Vince Camuto (old) (very cute option) | Clutch: Kate Spade | Sunnies: Marc by Marc Jacobs (love these) | Lip: MAC Heroine | Mani-Pedi: CND Shellac ‘CityScape’ + Silver Foil Accents
According to Q, this fall is the perfect time to add navy blue to your closet. This color is a fabulous closet staple that can be styled many different ways with many other colors. Stay tuned for a new color obsession!

Fun times indeed!
That jumpsuit is so cute! I want one so bad. I tried on an olive green one a few weeks ago that was too big up top and I was so disappointed; finding one to wear in the fall with a chunky knit sweater and booties is my goal!

Thanks! Fit is definitely important! I’ve ran into my share of bad ones. I can’t wait to transition them with sweaters and booties, too.
