#MemphisFashionWeek 2017: My Style

For the first night of shows, I went with my favorite site for special occasion looks, Rent The Runway. Nicole Miller was showing and I really wanted to wear one of her designs. The dress I originally stalked wasn’t available, but this gorgeous frock caught my eye and I’m glad it did.

Black is white is ever classic and I chose to accent it with a dark lip. The silouhette made me feel a little burlesque-y. Inspiration: Dita Von Teese. The caramel version, of course. I had to get creative with the extra low neckline because of all of this extra bustage, but I love how it turned out. I put a sneak peek of the gorgeous hemline on IG, so here’s the full look.

According to Q, black and white never lets us down! It’s super chic and classic, but doesn’t have to be boring. Bold or bright accessories will add a little extra umph and you’ll surely be a showstopper.

Cheers to new ways to wear the classics and another awesome #MemphisFashionWeek!
