Spring weather involves rain (massive amounts of it) and the trench is a much needed piece to keep us dry. The trench has been around since the 1800s and the first World War. Thomas Burberry (yes, as in THE Burberry) invented the durable fabric for trench coats and over time many have taken the trench and made it fabulous in so many different ways. The final installment in the spring jacket series is the trench. But not just any trench, a bright hot yellow one. I found this one for a steal at a Banana Republic outlet. Yellow is my favorite color, and I absolutely had to have it. Again, I added it to same gray midi dress and red accessories. And BAM! Fabulous even in the midst of a storm (<—-MESSAGE!)
