The Gender Reveal Dress

I’m sure you have grown tired of hearing about my gender reveal brunch.  This is the last post.  I promise.  I’ve received lots of good feedback on this dress and thought I should post it too.  This was actually one of my first actual maternity purchases from Motherhood Maternity.  It’s a little big and made me look hella pregnant, but the belt helped.  I thought it was perfect for the gender reveal with it’s blend of pink, blue, purple, and green.  I also loved the pattern mix, which meant I didn’t have to work too hard to pull this outfit together.  The mixed prints gave me instant style, and I’m totally loving the off the shoulder neckline.

I shopped my closet for accessories, which I think were perfect for the dress AND the occasion.  Sometimes we forget about all of the accessories we’ve collected over the years. I know I do. But, when you take a moment to look towards the back of the closet, you can find some gems that will be new to you again.  Earrings, scarf, bracelet, clutch. Doesn’t matter.   I dare you to shop your closet this week and break out a something old and turn it into something new.

Cheers to the dresses that make dressing effortless!

I tried this dress on but it didn’t look near as flattering as it does on you. I love how you added the belt. Speaking of accessories, I think we need a blog post on accessory storage and organization (hint hint). Keep the fashion flowing!
