Can’t Let Summer Go (& don’t sleep on Target)

I’m a summer girl to my core! I mean, I can’t help it being the southern belle that I am.  Insert giggle emoji.  No seriously, I normally don’t want summer to go, but this year as the temps are cooling off, I kind of like it.  Blame it on ladybug.  We’re still hitting 70 degrees most days so I’m slowly transitioning the wardrobe with easy dresses and comfy shoes, like these mules, which I never thought I’d be into.  Remember this post? Well, I love them! I just happened upon them when searching for some preggo shoes, and they are helping me slide into fall quite nicely.  I’ll admit they’re a brand that I wouldn’t normally purchase, but I was focusing more on the style of the shoe and comfort level.  They are the perfect comfy shoe for work or a casual day out.

I paired them with this cool off the shoulder dress from Target.  Y’alllllllllll.  DO. NOT. SLEEP. ON. TARGET! The new lines they are bringing in have really started off with a bang.  Of course, I’ll be showcasing a few of the pieces I’ve picked up, but I can’t wait to get my hands on quite a few more things I’ve been eyeing once I’m all snatched again.  Anywho, I loved the stripes on this dress and they played well with the accent stitching, which was perfect for a fall-ish dark burgundy lip.

According to Q, transitioning into fall means rich colors and lots of layers.  I could easily throw a denim jacket atop this dress to fight off the chill and trade the mules for tall boots.  Challenge yourself to stop outside of your comfort zone and try something new, like a chic dress from Target or a cool pair of mules (like I did).
