You’ve heard/read me say time and time again how much I love the ease and comfort of a kimono. Instant style without all of the effort, sign me up! Especially these days. And when you find one (or 5) that you love at a great price…how can one NOT love that!? Throughout this pregnancy (and before), the distressed denim + tee + some sort of topper has been my uniform. Most recently, I decided to add a little berry blue to the kimono situation for a whopping $14 in store! Yes, you heard/read me right! Gosh, I love it when that happens!! Insert warm fuZzies.
I wore this to my luvbug’s birthday dinner and it was perfect!!! I broke out my oldie but goodie navy blue bag, added on-trend mules to amp up the comfort factor, and chose a dark berry lip to add a little fall to the look. What do you think???

According to Q, preggers or not, the kimono + distressed jeans + tee is always a winner. Add a sassy pump and statement necklace to glam it or or crossbody with a cool sneaker for a more casual look. You can’t go wrong with any of the above!

I absolutely ❤️it. Question: How do you make the kimono work in the fall if you haveto wear a short jacket? I always struggle with that look in having a long top/kimono and then a short jacket.

The short jacket can be tricky but the key is to find the right balance. Too much fabric can be a little much. You could always try the “belt and blouse” trick to create more balance & proportion. Hope this helps.
