For the second installment of 3 ways with this yellow blazer, I’m showcasing the blazer with basic black and white. Yellow, whether pastel or bold, brightens up black and white quite nicely. This look was worn to work, but it’s also perfect for weekend brunch’n with the gal pals or even a nice family dinner. Culottes are my jam for spring and summer, and these are pretty well rounded, good for work and for play. As for the rest of the outfit…I’ve practically been living in these peep toe mules, and it was only right that I add this cute little dotted pouch to the stripes. The red lip was a no brainer, too. This outfit literally took me 5s to put together. It helped that the yellow blazer makes such a hot statement while being so cool.

According to Q, black and white can definitely stand alone, but adding a little yellow makes a fresh, new statement. Not to mention what yellow does to lift your mood and to brighten your day! Also, let me add culottes are here to stay and can be just as versatile as this yellow blazer. Be sure to grab a basic color, but also add some fun ones, too. I can’t wait to style a pair of striped ones this summer.
