Tropical Vibes

It was date night, and I needed a cool sundress on a hot day.  Ok, need is a little far-fetched, but nothing in my closet seemed to fit the bill this day.  So, I rolled to my favorite neighborhood Targét (of course) and immediately spotted this beauty.  I wanted something cool and comfortable.  I also wanted something that the mister might think was cute too.  This one had the right amount of flintiness.  Added bonus, it made me think of being somewhere tropical, one of my favorite places.   I had all of the accessories I needed at home, so there was no doubt that she was coming home with me.  Although I was sipping wine and strolling through a local outdoor mall, I was totally imagining being swept away to somewhere near a beach really soon.  Oh, don’t mind my hair, I was trying something new.  It really didn’t work.  But this dress is the real star of the show anyways. Insert Kanye shrug.  What do you think?

According to Q, a good, easy sundress is a MUST for any summer wardrobe.  Find one in a good print, like this one with tropical vibes, and you’re sure to live in it all summer long!! I’ll definitely find a way to “dress” this dress up over the next few months, but I’m already thinking of how to transition this dress for fall with a denim jacket and booties.
