17 Berkshire

I’m always trying to preserve my mom sexy.  But there are times when I allow myself to indulge in the sweet part of life.  Enter 17 Berkshire, the newest, chicest little pastry shop in Overton Square.  I had the chance to visit and partake in some delectable treats, but more than that, I had the privilege to experience this übercharming space.  The owner, Nuha Abuduhair, started 17 Berkshire in 2015, and specializes in creating elegant cakes, macarons, pastries, and chocolates.  The shop is open and airy and the perfect place to stop in for macarons + a latte and some girl chat, an after lunch dessert, or a quiet escape from the hustle of the city.  There are also artisanal teas as well as boutique items such as greeting cards, books, and of course, cake decor for purchase.

I had the pecan pie and macarons, watermelon was my favorite. Both were AMAZING!! And the chai tea latte totally hit the spot.

If you’re ever in Overton Square, you’ve got to visit Nuha’s “sugar baby” and indulge yourself in a sweet delight! See the 17 Berkshire website for more information about store hours and specialty orders (yes, she does those too!)

Now, about this outfit.  For my visit to the new bakery (& for a GNO), I wanted a chic casual French girl look and I’d been dying to wear this skirt.  The graphic tee was quite apropos and just went with the flow, and of course, I had to add a pop of red to seal the deal.

According to Q, this quaint coffee shop and bakery add a little more chic to the Overton Square area. The treats are sweet and so is the owner, but you’ll enjoy the chic ambiance most off all. Stop by when you get a chance and tell her Q sent ya!

Cheers to sweet treats and chic places!
