For the third installment of as the metallic pleated skirt turns (remember the soap As the World Turns? Ha!), I chose to style the piece for the office. See how versatile pleated skirts can be?? I knew I wanted to add a print since the metallic gray is a neutral. And what print is more perfect than leopard?!?!? Now, since it is for the office, I thought I’d anchor the look with a black sleeveless vest and black peep-toe pumps. AND THIS FABULOUS BAG!!
The bag has to have it’s own moment! She is so unique, yet quite functional. I love a good stylish work bag and this one fits the bill quite nicely. Minimal but makes a statement, the EJ bag (that’s her name) has a cell phone pocket and is large enough to carry a laptop. She really added some umph to this outfit and pulled everything together.

According to Q, the pleated skirt provides a great foundation and the cool metallic color goes with everything, including leopard! Adding a vest, cardigan, or blazer instantly elevates this pleated skirt into professional chic and you’re ready to WERK at work. Now that you see how versatile a pleated skirt can be, go treat yo’self!
Which look was your favorite?
I like “sporty spice” the most. I would like a cool flat with it too. The office look came 2nd.
A cool flat would totally work!!!
