Hello June! This new month introduces us to summer for real, and I’m marveled by how fast the days have gone back. We’ve reached the middle of the year already and before we know it, it’ll be Thanksgiving & Christmas & time to start a whole new year! Gasp. I’m not even ready to think about that, but what I am loving is the fact that summer is finally here. And in full force, might I add. We skipped right over the spring we know and love during the month of May. Although it seems to be a blur, here are a few of favorite things for the month.
Truly Hard Seltzer RoséI was really focused on my nutrition this past month. It started with the Beychella challenge (that folks were hating on), but afterward, I continued. Deleting a lot of the empty calories from wine and alcohol were a part of the challenge, so I thought I’d try this. And I ended up kind of loving it. I’m a sparkling water fan (only specific brands though) & I love Rosè, so this was right up my alley. Now, keep in mind it is sparkling water and only 5% alcohol but it’s super light and refreshing with just a hint of Rosè to tickle your tastebuds. Added bonus: only 100 calories! It’s officially my summer drink! I found these in individual and 6 pack at my local grocery store. Try it and let me know if you like it. The Blueberry Acai is good too.
Whish Body Scrub LemongrassLemongrass is one of my favorite scents!! So when I discovered this natural, certified organic scrub while strolling through Nordstrom Rack, I had to try it. It is chemical free and smells so goooooood!! The scrub is gentle and I don’t leave the shower with the “scratched up” feeling (the only way I can describe it) & stripped of moisture when I use it. This scrub has been my go-to 2 to 3 times a week this past month (as evidenced by the contorted package that I have squeezed to death) & I plan on squeezing out every drop. Check out the website HERE for scrubs and more natural body + skin care products.
Glow Recipe Sleeping MaskY’all know I don’t mess around when it comes to my skin! And this sleeping mask definitely contributes to my “my black ain’t crackin’ any time soon” situation!! I’ve reached for it a lot lately to replenish moisture, smooth, and boost that glow I love. It’s super juicy and smells amazing… it smells like Summer! Grab yours at Sephora or browse the site (HERE) for more Glow Recipe Mask options.
