OBSESSED | Headbands

Bad hair day? Grab a headband.  Running errands? Grab a headband.  Want to throw in a print to mix or an extra dose of color? Grab a headband.  Working out? Grab a headband.  Children getting on your nerves? Grab a headband.  Point is, you need a couple of headbands. I loved headbands when my hair was longer, but the obsession became even more intense when I cut my hair.

At this point, I’ve acquired quite of few of these lovely accessories and it started to create somewhat of a situation when it came to storage. Now, I put my headbands in 2 different categories: turbands (the kind that go all the way around the head; some also call them a headwrap) and regular headbands (the U-shaped kind).   I wear them both depending on my mood and what style I’m going for. Well, l truly wanted to figure out a solution that was chicer than stuffing them in a drawer or a box.  So I did, and of course, I’m sharing it with you.  A life hack of sorts.

_MG_2947_MG_2950The fix: an old round vase.  I’m pretty sure everyone has one laying around the house.  If not, tell Husbae that he’s overdue to send you some just because flowers.  Or head to your nearest Dollar Tree and pick one up.   Anyways, Ta-Daaaaa! This way makes them easy to grab to wear and easy to replace when finished. I usually have them organized by print or color, and keep them stored on a tray with my fragrances.  This particular solution is best for the U-shaped bands, but also works for the turbands; it’ll just take a little more effort to get them on and off.  For my turbands, I simply use a T shaped jewelry organizer like THIS.  They hang freely and aren’t much of a hassle to remove and replace.

According to Q, add headbands to your list of must have accessories no matter the length of your hair!!  Basic colors are a staple, but add some bold colors or prints to give any outfit an extra dose of sass.  Store them easily with this simple life hack and you’ll be able to grab one in a flash!
