My favorite style season is summer. I love a good sundress and sandal moment, the shorts (hello #thighmeat), the dope sunnies, the vibrant colors, and you gotta have cool accessories like straw bags. This year, we haven’t been able to go many places, but when we do we tend to glam up a little just because. I can’t speak for you, but lately dressing up gives me some sense of normalcy.
These days, however, dressing up doesn’t call for too much. Lately, I’ve been grabbing easy dresses for everything! Grocery store runs. Checking on the parents. Lunch or dinner on a patio. Even for the office, since I’m essential and still working. Reason number one, because these dresses are basically grab and go. No fuss. Secondly, because they’re super versatile. Add some cool mules and a bomb necklace (as seen in this post…I wore this exact look to work a few weeks ago). You could also grab some flat sandals and a hat for a chic summer look. Or throw on some sneakers with a crossbody bag for a look that’s cool and comfy but pulled together. Pick a classic color or a cool print and you’ll have this dress for summers to come! Especially next summer when we’ll hopefully be back to “normal”, however new it will be.

This look is super simple to recreate! Hit the link below for the exact dress. Grab a cute, comfortable mule or sandal. These have the cutest bow on the straps. The statement necklace adds a little interest, but it was a little too black, so I grabbed my yellow bag for a pop of color! A red, orange, or pink bag would’ve been awesome too. 4 items and Voila!

According to Q, whether midi length or short, easy dresses are a win-win for summer. They’re versatile and comfortable and blend in great with any style scene or scenario. Be careful though. These dresses come with lots of volume, so depending on how they’re made, you might have to size down.
